Employer Self-Service User Guide: Determination and Issue Summary

Withdraw an Appeal

Appeals can be withdrawn only by the party who filed the appeal.

Step-by-step instructions to withdraw an appeal:

  1. Go to www.uimn.org, click on Employer Login.
  2. Enter your User ID and Password, click Login.
  3. On My Home Page, click on Determinations and Issue Summary.
  4. Find the applicant’s Pending First Level Appeal or Pending Request for Reconsideration you want withdrawn.

    To search for an applicant's name:

    • Enter the applicant’s Social Security number (SSN) in the ‘Search - Determinations, Issues and Account Notices’ SSN text boxes, click Search, or
    • Select either Pending First Level Appeal or Pending Request for Reconsideration from the ‘Search – Determinations, Issues and Account Notices’ drop down menu, click Search.

  5. Select the applicant’s SSN you want withdrawn.
  6. Click on Withdraw this Appeal.
  7. Withdraw Appeal page displays (see example). Click Withdraw.
