The unemployment debit card can be used, with no fees, to get cash at any bank that accepts Visa, at any U.S. Bank ATM, or to make purchases at any business that accepts Visa debit cards.
Minnesota Unemployment Insurance will make benefit payments to your ReliaCard Visa, unless you have direct deposit.
An unemployment debit card expires 3 years after the date issued. Any future benefit payments made during this time will be placed on the card. One month before your card expires, U.S. Bank will mail you a new card. New cards are mailed to every applicant whose card has been activated (whether or not there is a balance on the card).
