Federal Extension of Benefits Information

Applications for the Federal Extension of Benefits are now available online and using the automated phone option.

Is there a Federal Extension of Benefits?

Yes. On June 30, 2008, the President signed into law and on July 1, 2008, Governor Tim Pawlenty authorized Minnesota’s participation in the federally funded Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) program. The law became effective July 6, 2008.
