For administrative purposes, we break the program up into four separate program codes.

E027: Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation B (PEUC) – Applicants who exhausted their PEUC benefits under the E024 program code transitioned to the E027 program code. You can receive up to 11 weeks of PEUC benefits on the E027 program code.
E028: Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation C (PEUC) – Applicants who exhaust their regular unemployment benefits after December 26, 2020 are transitioned to the “E028” program code. You can receive up to 24 weeks of benefits on the E028 program code.

If you exhausted your regular unemployment benefits on or before December 26, 2020, you transitioned to the E024 program code. If you exhausted the E024 program code benefits, you were transitioned to the E027 program code. If you exhausted the E027 program code benefits, you were transitioned to the E029 program code.
If you exhausted your regular unemployment benefits after December 26, 2020, you were transitioned the “E028” program code. If you exhausted the E028 program code benefits, you were transitioned to the E029 program code.
The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program (PUA) provides benefits to applicants who are unemployed due to the pandemic but ineligible for regular UI or any federal or state extension.
PUA benefits are available for a total of up to 70 weeks, but the last week any PUA benefits will be available is the week ending September 4, 2021.
For administrative purposes, we break the program up into three separate program codes.
D002/D003: Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) – Applicants who were determined eligible for PUA prior to December 27, 2020 were on program code D002. As of December 27, 2020, anyone on program code D002 transitioned to program code D003.
D004: Pandemic Unemployment Assistance C (PUA): Applicants who applied for benefits after December 27, 2020 and were determined eligible for PUA are on program code D004.
Supplemental payments are payments in addition your regular UI benefit. To be eligible for a supplemental payment, you must be eligible for either regular UI, a federal or state extension of benefits, Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), or Trade Readjustment Assistance (TRA).
