New schedule to request benefit payments online

Given the record volume of benefit payment requests we are receiving as a result of COVID-19, a temporary schedule to request benefit payments online has been put in place.

Please refer to the schedule below to learn when you are scheduled to make your benefit payment requests.

At your scheduled date and time, return to www.uimn.org and Log in to your account. From your home page, select the Request Benefit Payment link. You will then proceed through the screens to request a payment.

The table below lists the day and time to start your request for benefit payment based on the last digit of your Social Security number.


If the last digit of your

0, 1 or 2 Monday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
3, 4 or 5 Tuesday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
6, 7, 8 or 9 Wednesday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Any Thursday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Any Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
